What does Clean Connect do?Clean Connect is a booking agency for cleaning services. We help clients look for their ideal cleaner based on their needs, budget, location and more. On the other end of that spectrum, we connect cleaners with client, eliminating the need for sales and marketing for them.

What is the difference between a regular cleaning business, and Clean Connect?We source contractors from all spectrums of the business, vetting each one and training some of them, to make sure that we deliver the best to our clients. This enables diversity in skills, location needs and pricing. Instead of spending hours and hours searching and enquiring for cleaners, we help you do that, covering all bases to make sure they are the best fit for you.

What are the fees associated with Clean Connect?We charge a $35 booking fee for every session booked in through Clean Connect. Cleaning fees are paid directly to Cleaners through an agreed form of payment, usually either through cash or bank transfer.

What type of cleans does Clean Connect offer?We offer both residential & commercial cleans. Comprehensive list is stated on our website. If the type of clean you are looking for is not listed, please contact us for more information.

Do the cleaners provide the cleaning products?No, it's not always expected for the cleaners to have their own cleaning products. Clients are welcome to request for a booklet and purchase cleaning products from Intensive Cleaning.

How do I make a booking with Clean Connect?For residential clients, please fill in our booking form. To enable us to get back to you with a quote and match you with a cleaner as soon as possible, please give us as much information as possible when filling out the form. If we have any questions, we will call you or send you an email. Once you receive the quote and cleaner information, reply to us with a confirmation, and we will get you started with your first session right away.

Can I change my cleaner?Yes you can. Please contact us through our contact form, email or phone number, if you have any issues or queries with your cleaner. We are here to listen and help. If needed, we will work on finding you another cleaner that suits you better.

What are payment options for all fees associated with cleaning sessions?Booking Fee : bank transfer (contact us for bank information) or pay online via our website Cleaning Fee : bank transfer or cash directly to the cleaner.

Do I have to be home when services are being carried out?For the first clean, we encourage you to be home to meet with your cleaner. This gives you the opportunity to get to know them and communicate anything that you may need them to be aware of before starting the clean. After that, it is your choice if you wish to be home during the session. Some clients let the cleaner in when they arrive and head out, some like to leave the keys in a secured location for cleaners and others like to be home during the service.

What are your cancellations & refund policies?We kindly ask you to inform us regarding any cancellations or changes to a session at least 24 hours prior to the clean. For all cancellation policies please refer to our terms & conditions, and refer to our refund policy for further information on refunds.

Can my pet be home?Yes, of course. We love all furry friends, but please let us know in advance, so we can notify the cleaner. We ask that you ensure that your pet does not impede the cleaners from carrying out their duties. Some clients like to let their pets hang out in the backyard and the cleaners will let them back into the house when services are done.

How do you vet your cleaners?Clean Connect has a rigorous and thorough screening process for all our cleaners. We make sure that all cleaners possess all valid checks, identifications, references and working rights. Some cleaners will have their own insurance and professional training. All relevant information will be stated in the information package sent to you.

As a cleaner, why should I join Clean Connect instead of having my own business?Cleaners get to have their own business and be a part of Clean Connect. You get 100% of the cleaning fee, paid by the client. You get to decide what types of jobs you want to do, and how much to charge. We simply help with sales, marketing, some customer service and admin work. All you have to do is focus on the cleaning. We believe that having one focus allows you to refine your skills and clean more efficiently.

Do I have to provide my own cleaning equipment & chemicals?You have the choice of providing cleaning equipment and chemicals, or only accept clients who provide their own equipment and chemicals. If you choose to provide your own cleaning equipment and chemicals, you may choose to purchase them from us. We also provide a comprehensive cleaning guide and list of equipment and chemicals to help you be more efficient in cleaning.

Are there any fees associated with joining Clean Connect as a cleaner?The short answer is, no there isn't. However, if you are just starting out in the industry or if you are not confident in your skills, we provide training for a fee. You will be compensated for all cleaning sessions carried out during training. Training fees are dependent on the previous experiences and length of training. Please contact us for more information.

How do I apply to be part of the team?Please fill in the application form for cleaners. We will set up a time & date for an interview to get to know you, and an opportunity to do a trial clean to assess your skills. Then we will go through all safety & legal checks. If all goes well, you will join our community of cleaners, and we will start matching you to clients.

Do I get a say in the type of jobs I accept?Before you start, we will get all relevant information regarding your preferences, so we only match you with clients that suit your preference and time schedule. You may change your preferences at any time. Ultimately, you have a choice if you want to accept the job. When we offer you a job, you have 24 hours to accept or reject.

How do I get paid?You get paid directly by the clients. You may opt for your preferred payment method that will be uniform across all clients. If you wish to change your preferred payment method, you are required to let clients know in advanced. Most our cleaners prefer either cash or bank transfer.

What about taxes?Clean Connect will not be responsible for any taxes associated with cleaners. All cleaners are required to do their own taxes based on their income. Cleaners are required to have their own ABN. For more information on taxes please visit the ATO website.

How much do I get paid for each job?You keep 100% of the cleaning fee paid by clients. Prior to starting out with us, you should inform us of your fee per hour. We will quote property accordingly to that fee, and you will have the opportunity to review the fee before accepting the client. You may change your fee per hour at any time within reason. It is up to client discretion if they wish to continue with your services with any increase of prices.

Do I need a car?We encourage cleaners to have a valid drivers license and a reliable car for work. Cleaners who drive can carry cleaning equipment and chemicals to each job, are more appealing to clients. However, you may join Clean Connect if you do not possess a driver's license and car, as we some clients like to provide their own chemical & equipment.
